About Alexandra Gros

Hi there,

My name is Alexandra Gross, and I’m the proud owner of three pet hedgehogs.

Two of them are European hedgehogs, and one is a smaller African pygmy hedgehog.

I have always loved hedgehogs, and I’ve been taking care of them ever since I was a little kid. My parents always encouraged me to take care of all the animals I cross paths with, but hedgehogs have always held a special place in my heart.

In this blog, you’ll learn everything you need to know about owning a hedgehog as a pet, whether you found one outside your home or are considering adopting one from a shelter!

So as I said, My name is Alexandra. I’m 21 years old, living in Sacramento at Natomas Park in a lovely apartment with a small garden. I study and work as a web programmer, but I like to go out to the park and walk around with my hedgehogs in my free time!

I adopted two European hedgehogs (John & Yoko) from a shelter and the African pygmy one (Martha) I found outside of my home. All three of them have different personalities, which I love to explore.

They all require special care, attention, and diet when it comes to living inside a house or apartment.

In addition, I have a small group of hedgehog-lover friends, and we like to exchange advice and experiences about taking care of these amazing animals. So every once in a while, we get all our hedgehogs together, and it’s like a mini-zoo!

I look forward to helping other people interested in adopting a beloved pet hedgehog and giving them all the necessary information they need to make sure their new friend is happy and healthy!

From how to feed them, provide exercise and training, and keep them healthy, you’ll get all the answers right here!

So keep reading, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I’m more than happy to help you out!

Thanks for joining me on this journey of hedgehog ownership!

Good luck taking care of your new little friend! 🙂

Best Regards,

Alexandra Gross
